STARA Technologies, Gilbert, AZ October 2012 – July 2013

·               Repaired, modified, installed, and performed routine maintenance on the (80 ft. tower) Persistent Ground Surveillance Target system (PGST) in conjunction with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) stateside and in Afghanistan.

·               Set up and programmed the PGST and its hardware components to include, the Ground Control Station, IR cameras, radars, electrical, fiber optic, and Ethernet cables.

·               Monitored Cisco and Moxa switches ensuring hardware and system components are communicating.

·               Interpreted maintenance manuals, service bulletins, wiring diagrams, system schematics, and drawings.

·               Familiar with the IR 360 and SR Hawk radar systems capabilities and its components.

·               Used test equipment to perform systems test and checks to include digital multi-meters, fiber optic probes and other power tools.

·               Maintained the integration of the PGST with the Persistent Ground Surveillance System (PGSS).

·               Operated out of a Standard Ground Station using 3D map data and photographic imaging to gather intelligence and mission training through elevated sensor systems.

·               Installed electric, fiber optic, Ethernet cables, cameras, and other related hardware and software components.

Performed preventive maintenance checks and services (PMCS) on each system and its components.
